20+ Times Shibas Proved Theyre The Most Much Wow Dogs Ever

Many people first became familiar with the Shiba Inu from that ‘Doge’ meme that was everywhere for a while (very Shiba, much soft. Wow), but these lovable, eccentric Spitz dogs are actually a very old breed, that has developed quite independently from other common breeds of today.

It is this that makes them seem so ‘weird.’ They are incredibly intelligent dogs that like to keep themselves fastidiously clean, and they have also learned to use their paws much more often than other breeds. In many ways they act more like a cat than a dog! This goes for their personality too, while they like having humans around, they don’t necessarily want or need your attention. You have gotta earn the respect of a Shiba!

Sounds like the perfect pet for someone who can’t decide between a cat and a dog, right? Just make sure you keep your Shiba stimulated and well exercised, they can become quite destructive when bored. So while they are adorably cute, bright and funny, Shibas are not for everyone, be sure you know what you are doing before you get one!

In the meantime, we here at Bored Panda have compiled a list of Shiba Inus doing what they do best, being hilariously funny. Scroll down to check them out for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments!

What This Guy Accidentally Sends To His Professor Has Internet In Tears, But Her Response Takes It To Next Level

It’s a time-honored tradition of students everywhere – pulling an all-nighter to complete that paper that has been hanging around your neck for weeks, just before time. These days work is usually submitted online, so all that needs to be done after your caffeine-fueled n

ightmare is a simple attachment, and off it goes to be graded. No hungry dogs around to eat it, no printer-based dramas to fall back on.

Things can still go hilariously wrong though, as student Alex Sparrow found out to his cost. Having completed his literary essay about diversity in society, and in a sleep-deprived, euphoric state, he somehow contrived to attach the wrong file when submitting. He shared his story on Twitter and it has since gone viral, being retweeted almost 100,000 times.

“For several days I couldn’t even scroll through Twitter without it freezing up on whatever was showing,” Adam told Bored Panda. “I had a video stuck on my phone for 5 minutes as I was getting hundreds of notifications every second.”

But why? What’s the big deal? You might ask. You will understand when you see the file he sent by accident! Scroll down to check it out for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments below!

Here’s how people reacted:

Finally, the professor responded!

“Unfortunately the cat isn’t mine,” Adam told Bored Panda. “I wish it was though! My teacher wanted to know about the cat and if even she could have it but sadly, I’ve never known the cats true origin”

Do you know the origin of this cat? Let us know in the comments!

This Husky Was Found So Malnourished She Looked Like A Skeleton, 10 Months Later Shes Unrecognizable

Anyone who has ever visited the beautiful island of Bali will know that, stunning as it is, they do have a stray dog issue and it is quite common to encounter street dogs while walking around towns and villages.

While the government has a difficult job on its hands to keep things under control and prevent rabies outbreaks, shelters and citizens take matters in their own hands to give the poor, lost pups the best life they can possibly get. Bali is known for its Hindu faith, and one important figure in Hindu belief is Yudhishthira, a king who had approached heaven with his dog. Because of this, the common belief exists among many Hindus that caring for or adopting dogs can also pave way to heaven. A beautiful example of this is the story of a husky that was found on the street, sore-ridden and extremely malnourished, by the gentle soul that is Rico Soegiarto.

When Rico, 26, first encountered the pup on the streets of Denpasar, she had bald spots, and was so thin you could see her bones through her diseased skin. She didn’t have long left to live. Despite her condition however, her brilliant blue eyes still shone bright and Rico knew that he had to give the neglected pup a second chance. “I don’t know what was special about her,” Rico told Bored Panda. “Its about heart and feeling. I found her when I was on the way back home from work, she was in the middle of the street.”

And wow, what a second chance it was. After carefully nursing the husky back to health, with grooming, pet visits and plenty of good food, Rico shared the results of his beloved new pet’s transformation. It is simply astonishing! Now strong and healthy with a thick, lustrous coat and those same burning blue eyes, the husky clearly adores Rico and cannot keep her paws off her savior. “She loves getting petted and eats plenty of cookies!” Rico told us. “And she is so sociable that she worries me sometimes. There are many thieves in Bali.” She is safe now though with Rico, who has 4 other dogs and is a dedicated animal lover. So what did he decide to call his miracle pup that has survived such hardship? “Her name is Hope.”

What a fitting name!  Scroll down to see the powerful pictures below, and let us know what you think in the comments!

25+ Hilarious Photos That Prove Cats Are The Biggest Assholes

Our pets can, just like us, be assholes. Dogs are a bit clumsy, mischievous, and often motivated by greed. They will rip up your couch cushions just because it’s fun to do. But there’s no malice involved and they really do love you, they are just idiots sometimes.

Cats, on the other hand, are something else entirely. Sometimes it seems like they know exactly what they are doing, and they take a kind of perverse pleasure in pissing you off. They are cold, calculating assholes, and they aren’t shy about it! Why else would they poop in your sink or sit on your pizza?

We asked our readers to send in pics of their cats being mean for no particular reason, and were amazed with the hilariously evil submissions we received. Scroll down below to check them out for yourself, and don’t forget to upvote your favorites!

Woman Captures Scared Dog Getting Dragged Into Kill Shelter By Owner, And His Reaction Will Break Your Heart

Our pets are much smarter than we give them credit for. Sometimes, they understand the situation perfectly and can sense what’s really happening. “Wait, we aren’t going to the park, you’re taking me to the vet!”

Ann Flores, who was visiting Harris County Animal Shelter in Houston, Texas, with a friend recently, saw a heartbreaking example of this unfold in front of her eyes. She was there because her friend was interested in adopting a dog, but before they could get that far she noticed a woman physically dragging her dog from the parking lot to the shelter door. This dog clearly knew that he was being abandoned, and wasn’t going willingly.

“He laid on his back and just rolled over,” Flores told The Dodo. “It was like he was saying, ‘Please don’t take me in here.”

Amazingly, there was another woman in the parking lot doing the exact same thing with a second dog. Flores captured the sad scenes with her camera, and was infuriated with the reactions of the women to their poor pups obvious distress. “They were both pulling, but the dogs wouldn’t budge,” Flores said. “They had to pick them up because they just would not move. They would not walk in there.”

“They didn’t care. They were just laughing and giggling because the dogs wouldn’t move. To them, it was just like throwing trash away. There was no remorse, nothing.”

Flores sent the footage to Harris County Animal Volunteers, who work to rehome dogs and cats from the shelter. It was uploaded alongside a plea to help the dogs, who they named Truman and Mandi. Time was of the essence, as the shelter was full and they were facing the prospect of euthanasia within days if no foster home was found.

Thankfully, the appeal to help the abandoned pups worked, and both Truman and Mandi have since found new humans. While they both face challenges in order to overcome their traumatic pasts, Truman and Mandi are making good progress, and are now showered with the love and affection they so desperately need! Scroll down below to see how they are coming along, and let us know what you think in the comments.

(h/t The Dodo)

“He laid on his back and just rolled over. It was like he was saying, ‘Please don’t take me in here’” remembers Ann Flores, the witness of the event

Another woman was dragging a second dog: “They had to pick them up because they just would not move”

“They didn’t care,” Flores said. “They were just laughing and giggling because the dogs wouldn’t move”

“To them, it was just like throwing trash away. There was no remorse, nothing”

The overcrowded shelter scheduled Truman for euthanasia on Monday – just four days after admission, and his sister Mandi for Tuesday

“Why get an animal if you’re not going to keep it and do this to them?” Flores sent the footage to the Harris County Animal Volunteers to save the dogs

And soon Truman found a home: “He was starting to warm up to me a bit in a 25-minute car ride, which you don’t often see”

“In just an hour, we saw a fantastic transformation of a dog who wouldn’t even walk and being flat on the ground and shaking…”

“…to feeling safe enough to sleep in the car and get close to me”

“He’s going to be just a fantastic dog to live with”

As for Mandi, she left the shelter a day after her brother

“She is missing fur all over her body. She has mange… and she was so timid and scared”

But her new owner Jackie Duncan is feeling hopeful and says “she has a ton of love in her”

People who saw this were split into two camps, and the first one was enraged

Others felt there’s more to this story

Blind Man Left In Tears After Nobody Gave Up Their Seat For Him And His Guide Dog On The Train

It’s crazy how people can do such marvelous and stupid things at the same time. We are preparing for a trip to Mars yet we can’t show any decency for those who have been mistreated by fate. A 37-year-old blind man felt crushed when London commuters didn’t give up their seats in a cramped train for him and his guide dog.

“People can be so selfish, they pretend they can’t see or hear when I ask if there’s a seat available,” Amit Patel tweeted. “It’s so humiliating when I struggle to find something to hold onto & keep [my guide dog] safe at the same time, this is when you’ll see a tear running down my face. Life is difficult enough.”

Patel was an A&E doctor before he lost his sight 5 years ago after developing keratoconus. Since then, he got himself Kika who is one of only 5% of guide dogs who are trained to take their owners on escalators.

“Losing my sight was very lonely,” the man added. “If I’m traveling by public transport, I’m sometimes like a scared little boy.” This time, Patel claims he was forced to stand with his back against the doors while Kika kept slipping on the wet floor of the train.

Writing from Kika’s Twitter account, he said, “We walked to the end of the platform in the pouring rain so that we can board the designated disabled section on the @Se_Railway train and even with dad giving me the command ‘find a seat’ not one passenger gave up their seat.”

After people rushed to support Amit at least with words, he continued, “Thank you all for your kind messages, unfortunately, being ignored when asking for a seat is a daily occurrence for us.”

“One small act of kindness could have turned the situation around completely.”

Recently, a 37-year-old blind and his guide dog felt heartbroken on a train in London and said it could have easily been avoided

But there were some who didn’t

20+ Hilarious Photos That Prove Huskies Are The Weirdest Dogs Ever

Everybody who owns a Husky knows they are the worst. These unenthusiastic and lazy dogs are incredibly boring to spend time with. Not only that, Huskies get super cold even from the slightest breeze, so don’t plan to take them on trips or anything. On the upside, at least they’re really cultured, possessing the best manners.

If you fell for all of that, it means there hasn’t been a single Husky in your life. Bored Panda has compiled a list of hilarious photos of these goofy and energetic escape artists to show why these weirdos are awesome. In fact, they love to run and explore so much that during WWII armies even employed these blue-eyed pups for search and rescue missions. US Olympic Skier Gus Kenworthy Rescued 90 Dogs From Korean Dog Meat Farm

Gus Kenworthy, 26, is an American freestyle skier from Colorado who recently made headlines after rescuing 90 dogs from a dog meat farm in South Korea while participating in 2018 Winter Olympics.

In 2014, during the Sochi Winter Olympics, Gus found two stray puppies near the Olympic Village and had to go through a long process to get them to America with him and now he took upon himself to save even more dogs.

“This morning Matt and I had a heart-wrenching visit to one of the 17,000 dog farms here in South Korea,” he wrote on Instagram. “Across the country, there are 2.5 million dogs being raised for food in some of the most disturbing conditions imaginable. Yes, there is an argument to be made that eating dogs is a part of Korean culture. And, while don’t personally agree with it, I do agree that it’s not my place to impose western ideals on the people here. The way these animals are being treated, however, is completely inhumane and culture should never be a scapegoat for cruelty. Despite the beliefs of some, these dogs are no different from the ones we call pets back home.”

Together with his boyfriend Matt, Gus decided to take one of the dogs home. “I adopted the sweet baby in the first pic (we named her Beemo) and she’ll be coming to the US to live with me as soon as she’s through with her vaccinations in a short couple of weeks. I cannot wait to give her the best life possible!” 90 other dogs from the farm are taken from the facility to the United States and Canada for adoption with the help of Humane Society International.

Even though there are many more pups in bad conditions, every little attempt to help counts and it’s so great that there are some amazing people, like Gus, who use their platform to spread awareness and help.

20+ Times Retrievers Proved They Are The Best Dogs Ever

Labradors and Golden Retrievers are the most popular dogs in so many countries across the world, and it’s easy to see why. They are loads of fun, people-oriented, obedient yet curious and have a sharp intelligence that still shines through beneath their hilariously goofy nature.

Originating in Newfoundland, where they were first bred to help fishermen and hunters to retrieve their nets and catch, Labradors are now commonly used as guide-dogs and comfort animals for the disabled. Golden Retrievers are very similar to Labs, with slight differences between British, American and Canadian types. They are all high-energy dogs, so they need plenty of exercise! They do love a cuddle as well though, and are always eager to please their humans. That why we love them so much!

This Man And His Dog Just Inspired The Most Adorable Twinning Trend, And The Photos Will Make Your Day

It all started when Liam Rice, 24, from the Isle of Man, tweeted out a series of selfies with his charismatic husky Luna, who has a habit of copying his facial expressions. People loved the pics so much that they decided to try the same with their own pets, and a trend was born.

“Going viral has just been so bizarre, Liam told Bored Panda. “Usually you see people go viral for actually doing something productive, but all I did was take a picture with my dog and I woke up the next day to a frozen phone (from the notifications). It’s been so lovely though to read all the positive comments and seeing other people with their dogs!

Liam is an animal lover, he works as an animal care officer at the Manx SPCA and as well as 2-year-old Luna, he has 5 cats. After a few years of doing all kinds of work, he now feels like he’s doing his dream job. “My main duties at the ManxSPCA are caring for and rehoming dogs in the kennels,” he told us. “Fairly often I get the chance to help with the welfare side and go out and rescue animals such as cats, dogs and even more wild animals like seals!”

For those who have never heard of the Isle of Man, it is a small, wild island located in the Irish Sea, between Great Britain and Ireland. Known for its fascinating history and culture, insane motorcycle race and status as a tax-haven, it is an interesting place to live. “Life on the Isle of Man is beautiful, I am happy here and it is my home,” Liam told Bored Panda. “Although sometimes I do feel detached from the rest of the world at times! It can be hard to find someone to settle down with as I am limited with the amount of people on the island!

Well Liam’s tweets have definitely connected him with plenty of people, with over 200,000 retweets and thousands of people joining in the fun! Scroll down below to check out a few of the best so far, and don’t forget to upvote your favourites! You can also check out Liam’s Instagram here.
