Here is our family of Beagles! We have 3 generations between the ages of 10 years and 10 weeks! Madison, the 10 year old is the Mom of Mackenzie, Mikeala, & Sierra and the Grandma of Sophie. We originally bred Maddy to keep 1 pup to continue her line because we love her so much, but with a litter of 9 to choose from, we kept 3 girls instead of 1! Raising 3 pups along with their mommy was a trip in itself! With 1 too many dogs already, we decided to breed Mackenzie to once again continue the line! Being the age of 7 now, we realized we would soon be out of chances. After 4 tries and 2 males and no connection, we were told by the breeder that Mackenzie was somehow unbreedable. We had waited too long! We were so upset that there would never be another piece of Maddy! However, as time moved on Kenzie seemed to be hungry all the time (more than a normal Beagle!). We visited the vet due to her strange behavior and low and behold on the xray we spotted just 1 PUP! We believe that an angel up above (My recently passed away grandmother, Emma) sent us a tri colored miracle named Emma Sophia!
This is our buddy Jackson. He is 6 mos old, 85 lbs. He is a mastiff mix. We adopted him from a shelter and he has been just a delight. He is a big baby and loves nothing better than to sit on your lap, which at his size can be very uncomfortable. He is a great companion and adores our 3 year old son. We are so please to have him and just wanted to brag on him a bit.
This is Diesel rescue French bulldog who has been a part of our family for about a year now. This is his third home & I'm bound & determined his last. The original owner paid $2600 for him & gave him away to someone who admitted he hit for peeing on the floor after being locked in an apartment 14 hours a day & was going take him to the pound so here he is. He's never had an accident at our house! Don't get me wrong, he has some major issues from not being properly socialized but he's slowly coming around & he can be a real sweetheart when he wants to be. Him & Dancer are great friends but Dancer puts him in his place when she needs to!!
Jake is the newest member of the family. He's an 8 month old rat terrier from a friend of mine who has lung cancer & Jake just prooved to have way too much energy for him to keep up with. I was looking for a home for him & on the second day I realized dancer had taught him to use the dog door when he has to go potty & she does have the energy to keep up with him. Actually it's great 'cuz she's been putting on some weight lately & Jake is the best diet she could have!!!!!!!!
